Maulai Abdullah was a Dai' during the reign of 18th Shia Ismai'li (Fatimid) Imaam, Imaam Ma'd "al-Mustansir Billah" bin Imaam Ali az-Zaahir "Li Eizaazi Deenillah" (1029-1095) AD who came to Hind (India) together with Maulai Ahmad in 467 AH (c. 1074 AD). Maulai Abdullah is the grandfather of Sayyidi Hasan-Feer-Shaheed bin Maulai Ali bin Maulai Abdullah saheb in whose nasal (descendants) were several Du'ats. Maulai Abdullah worked tirelessly to explain to the people the true Imaan and to show them the folly of idol worship. In one instance he felled an idol in the form of an elephant which was suspended in mid-air by magnetic forces, by removing the magnets. He brought Imaan to the people of Khambat, Gujarat, including such notables like Maulai Tarmal, Maulai Bharmal, Raja Sidraj Singh and 25,000 others. He was bestowed the sharaf of performing mojiza (miracles). Among the miracles were:
a) He drew out water from a dry well during a draught in a town in Gujarat (Khambat?).
b) He was encircled by fire which provided him protection against the Raja's men who were pursuing him.
c) Maulai Ahmad: (Wafaat: 10th Muharram-ul-Haram), was a companion of Maulai Abdullah and assisted him in the propagation of Imaan in Khambat, Gujarat.
Kaka Akela & Kaki Akeli: They were the first to accept the da'wat as preached by Maulai Abdullah and Maulai Ahmad in Khambat, Gujarat.
