Maurice G. Rosenfeld, 62, certified public accountant

Maurice G. Rosenfeld, a certified public accountant and founder and partner in an Owings Mills accounting firm, died Sunday of a heart attack at his Pikesville residence. He was 62.

In 1960, he helped found the accounting firm of Rosenfeld, Lefko and Liberman.

Born and raised in Northwest Baltimore, he was a 1951 graduate of City College and earned his law and accounting degrees from the University of Baltimore. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict and was discharged with the rank of lieutenant.

He was a member of Beth El Congregation and the Silver Birch Swim Club.

Services were to be held at noon today at Sol Levinson & Bros. Inc., 6010 Reisterstown Road.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former Sheila Shuster; a son, Mitchell Rosenfeld of San Francisco; two daughters, Jill Molofsky of Owings Mills and Dana Rosenfeld of Washington; and four grandchildren.
