Biography

Maynard Day was born 1683 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.His parents were John Day and Sarah Butler.He also had seven siblings.
The son of John & Sarah (Butler) Day, he married Elizabeth Marsh, daughter of Samuel & Mary (Allison) Marsh, in 1714<ref> Families of Early Hartford, p. 211</ref>. The couple had seven children together. Maynard passed away in 12 May 1759. Burial was at the Ancient Burying Ground, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA<ref>Find A Grave Memorial# 43862440</ref>.
