Meda Novak b. 10/8/1922 d. 3/15/2010 Age 87 of Garland, TX passed away March 15, 2010 in Garland. She is survived by her daughters, Jane Schoppe, Linda Heitzman and husband Rick and Donna Coles and husband Michael; grandchildren, John Joseph Callan, Frank Schoppe and Taryn Coles and husband Ben Serrano; great-grandchildren, John Leonard Callan and Alexis Alyne Callan and sister, Margaret Dowell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Richard Novak; parents, Homer and Willie Mae Waters and sisters, Jewel Cowart, Georgia Lee Hodges and brothers, Raymond and Lewis Waters. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Courtland Cemetery Chapel , Queens City, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of Meda Novak with contributions made to “The Three Day for the Cure, Meda’s Grace Team”.
