About Meier KAHN
Meier was born in the village of Mittelsinn, Bavaria, Germany, to orthodox Jewish parents. He was named after his paternal grandfather which died only one year before. He studied law and rose to the extremely distinguished position of County Court Judge in Achaffenburg, Germany. He was later removed from his position by the anti Jewish Nazi regime and on June 17, 1943 was forced onto a Nazi deportation train leaving from Nürnberg-Würzburg, to Auschwitz Nazi death camp in Poland, never to be seen again.
