BRONTE — Melba Joyce Shupe, 72, of Las Animas, Colo., died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012. Service is at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Blackwell with burial in Blackwell Cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home/Bronte.

Survivors include her children, Pat Shupe of Hawley, Charles Shupe, George E. Taylor and Brenda Gribble, all of Las Animas, Colo., Glynn Taylor of Houston, Randy Shupe of San Angelo and Sissy Cadle of Fort Worth; brothers Elvin Chew of Abilene, George Chew of Blackwell and Johnny Chew of Fort Worth; and sisters Juanita Belfield of Amarillo and Helen Parker of Winters.
