W. M. Marrow of Blytheville celebrated his 84th birthday Sun- day and was honored with a sur- prise dinner at his home. Attending were Mr. and M r s. Ernest Marrow of Cole Ridge, Lewis C. Marrow of West Mem- phis, Mr. and.Mrs. Clinton Hick- ipgbotlom and children Marsha daughter Kathey of Btylhe.ville and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Marrow and children Melvin Lynn and Rickie of BlylheviUe. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ellis of BlylheviUe are parents of t h e i r and Bruce of Helena; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Heflin and Tuesday.

Mr. Melvin Marrow
Mr. Lois Melvin Marrow, 60, of Blytheville, died Tuesday Oct. 9, atnis home.
A longtime Kroger employee, he was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church and a lifelong area resident.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Dolores Carter Marrow; two sons, Lynn Marrow, Rick Marrow, both of Blytheville; one brother, W.E. Marrow of Little Rock; three sisters, Geneva Coleman of Paragould, Nola Evans of Forrest City, Katherine Heflin of Blytheville and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery by Cobb.
Family will receive visitors Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.Gene Underwood
