Melvin Howard Timberlake

Melvin H. Timberlake, age 60, a lifelong resident of Turkey Lane in Livermore, went to be with his Lord Monday, July 9th at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 31, 1947 in Livermore, the son of C. Irving and Ruth (Howard) Timberlake. He attended the schools of Livermore and Livermore Falls. Melvin worked for Oscar Turner chicken farm in Livermore and at DeCoster Egg Farm in Turner for 31 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ice fishing, playing cribbage and was a champ at checkers. He was also an avid Red Sox fan. He always looked forward to the time he spent with his family and his special best friend, Scott Maxwell. He is survived by his longtime companion, Jackie Therrien of Livermore, a son, Timothy Timberlake of Livermore, five daughters, Mary Ranger and her husband Paul of Presque Isle, Sarah Timberlake of Washburn, Cynthia Michaud and her husband Randy of Presque Isle, Misty Therrien and her companion Joe Ridley of Livermore Falls and Melonie Therrien and her companion Jim Burnham of Livermore; two sisters, Sarah Makinen and her husband Larry of Farmington, and Linda Wilson and her husband Ben of Livermore; two brothers, Carroll Timberlake and his wife Marcia of North Turner and Charles Timberlake and his wife Cheryl of Livermore, five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Greta Morgan.
