{{Mrs. Mercy Craig Jarrett - At the family home near Collins, Ohio, on Friday June 1st, occurred the death of Mrs. Mercy A. Jarrett, wife of Thomas Jarrett. She was a sister of Hiram Craig, Mrs. Lydia Pittinger and Miss. Ida Craig of Clyde.
The funeral was held there on Sunday, and among those in attendance were Mrs. Lydia Pittinger, C. F. Pittinger, Mrs. Hattie Yetter, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Rife, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Waugh, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Pittinger, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Pittinger and Mr. and Mrs, Howard Craig of Clyde and Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Craig of Green Springs.
Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Craig, pioneers of this vicinity, and was born on a farm in the vicinity of Galetown, and her girlhood days were spent here. At the age of 16 she united with the Baptist church, in December 31, 1868 was married to Thomas Jarrett. They had made their home near Collins ever since. Two children were born to them - Jennie M., who died January 28, 1917 and Lewie E., who survived, together with his wife and four children. Thomas Jarrett passed away December 28, 1920.
Miss. Ida Craig had been with her sister for many weeks previous to her death.}}
