The 1910 census revealed their son, Lewis and family were living with them. They were married forty-one years, had two children and two were still living. Household members: Thomas J. Jarrett (64), Myrtie C. (59), Jennie (40), Louie Jarrett (30), Mena (29), Floyd (9), Mildred (4) and Buella (1).

The 1920 census revealed their son, Lewis and family were still living with them. Household members: Thomas Jarrett (73), Mertie (69), Lewis Jarrett (40), Mina (39), Floyd B. (18), Mildred (14) and Ethal F. (8).

They had been married fifty-nine years when Thomas died in 1920.

Ohio pension record revealed Mercy Jarrett filed for a widow's pension on January 7, 1921.

Death record revealed Mercy A. Jarrett was born on November 11, 1850 in Clyde, Huron County, Ohio, was widowed and died at age seventy-two on June 1, 1923 in Townsend, Huron County, Ohio. Her parents were Louis Craig and Harriett Derlan.

{{Mrs. Mercy Craig Jarrett - At the family home near Collins, Ohio, on Friday June 1st, occurred the death of Mrs. Mercy A. Jarrett, wife of Thomas Jarrett. She was a sister of Hiram Craig, Mrs. Lydia Pittinger and Miss. Ida Craig of Clyde.

The funeral was held there on Sunday, and among those in attendance were Mrs. Lydia Pittinger, C. F. Pittinger, Mrs. Hattie Yetter, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Rife, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Waugh, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Pittinger, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Pittinger and Mr. and Mrs, Howard Craig of Clyde and Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Craig of Green Springs.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Craig, pioneers of this vicinity, and was born on a farm in the vicinity of Galetown, and her girlhood days were spent here. At the age of 16 she united with the Baptist church, in December 31, 1868 was married to Thomas Jarrett. They had made their home near Collins ever since. Two children were born to them - Jennie M., who died January 28, 1917 and Lewie E., who survived, together with his wife and four children. Thomas Jarrett passed away December 28, 1920.

Miss. Ida Craig had been with her sister for many weeks previous to her death.}}

Mercy lived to age 72.
