She was married (firstly) on July 12, 1768, to George Ross, who died in 1771.
She was married (secondly) on September 23, 1773, to John Stull.
Mercy was buried at the Ross-Williams family estate known today as Springfield Farm. This is confirmed by a letter sent to her brother General Otho Holland Williams in 1789, telling him that a sister had died and had been buried next to his other sister Mercy. In 1786 Otho donated land for a cemetery, which became official in May 1787, and named River View Cemetery. It's believed the graves of his sisters and George Ross are buried on the grounds of the cemetery, but no headstones exist. Otho's grave is marked in the cemetery.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Jan 23 2021, 0:30:17 UTC
