Meyer Wigoder

He was named Wigoder after the Hotel Wigoda which is located on the road going from Vieksniai to Akmene where my grandfather (my father’s father) the aged R. Meir the son of R. Dov lived for several years. When my father married my mother and my teacher – she was modest, pious, famed for her great charity and none can compare with her – Tzviya the daughter of R.
