About Michael Ffrench
Michael Ffrench was born in either Margate in 1789 and was a Catholic studing law at St Edmunds College Oxford where he became a Barrister at Law and worked at the Supreme Court in Madras, India. He married Margaret Hunn with whom he had five children including Montagu, Edmund, Edward, Martin and Ellen. Michael, who was also a flautist, died in Chelsea in 1843.
