About Michael Hagle
http://pages.swcp.com/~dhickman/journals/V8I4/johnbus.html John Bush is mentioned in several sources in connection with the fall of Buckhannon Fort in 1782. It is said that when the fort fell several persons were in the process of removing to various other forts for protection. On the way to a fort in the Tygart Valley a party consisting of John Bush, Michael Hagle (Bush's brother-in-law) and Elias Painter was attacked and Hagle and Painter fell.
