Before retirement I was an accountant by profession. After a period in industry I moved to the Higher Education Sector and became a Principal Lecturer / Head of Accounting and Finance at Northampton.

In more recent years my wife and I operated an academic consultancy company of which we were both directors.

We are now fully retired.

We live in Rutland, UK and have 3 married children and 5 grandchildren.

We make frequent visits to Europe including Spain and to Plzen (where we have distant relatives)

We enjoy walking, cycling and travelling.
