About Michael Kasper
Michael Kasper, 91, died early this morning at Evergreen Manor, where he had been residing two months.
He was born in Marytown, Wis., on Nov. 12, 1883, and was married on Feb. 4, 1913, to Josephine Benedict, who proceeded him in death in May 1958.
Mr. Kasper farmed at Rt. 2, Oshkosh, until 1959 when he retired. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Surviving are six sons, Fred Kasper, Manitowoc, George, John, Michael, Robert, and William Kasper, Oshkosh; six daughters, Mrs. Albert (Dorothy) Griedl, Mrs. George (Lucy) Payne, Mrs. Nolan (Marie) Steinike, Mrs. Mildred Quant, Oshkosh, Mrs. Leona Bonaparte, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Henry (Evelyn) Barforth, Winneconne; 42 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, with the Rev. Roger McClone officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
