Mildred Rootes Gray

Daughter of Elizabeth Rootes and Rev. John Thompson. She was born at "Salubria" as it is known now. Home that her father had built in 1742 located near Stevensburg, Culpeper Co., VA. Stevensburg is the oldest village in Culpeper Co.("Salubria" is the oldest brick home in that county.) At that time Rev. Thompson's estate was known as "LaGrange".
