About Mildred Eveline Johnson
MIldred Johnson
Mildred E. Johnson, a retired bookkeeper and five-year Vancouver resident, died Wednesday. She was 88.
Born March 23, 1896, in Moline, Ill.
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross of Laguna Hills, Calif.
Survivors include two nephews, C. Ray Johnson of vancouver and Robert Johnson of Beaverton; and one niece, Mary Losli of Hillsboro, Ore.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Eric Kallis officiating.
A graveside service will be a 10 a.m. Tuesday in Des Moines, Iowa.
Vancouver Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Graveside services for Mildred Johnson, 88, of Vancouver, Wash., formerly of Des Moines, who died Thursday in Vancouver of a heart ailment, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
Miss Johnson was born in Illinois and lived in Des Moines for 60 years before moving to Vancouver. She was a secretary before retirement. Miss Johnson was a member of First Lutheran Church
