Perhaps the most recognizable descendant was long-time county health nurse Minnie Blanch Hamilton, daughter of John and Minnie Cook Hamilton, whose name is etched on the county's medical facility. Mrs. Minnie Cook Hamilton lived to be 85 years old, 6 months and 21 days old. She died of a coronary thrombosis.
