About Minnie Lillian Hauser
Minnie Hauser, 91, Overland Park, Kan., passed away Monday, August 26, 2013, at Delmar Gardens of Overland Park. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Sheffield Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers; the faily suggests contributions to Jewish Family Services or a charity of the donor's choice . Minnie was born in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Phillip and Ida (Goodman) Moskovitz. She moved with her family to Kansas City, Kan., where she graduated from Rosedale High School and remained a lifelong area resident. Minnie met her loving husband, Eugene Hauser, of over 40 years and they founded and operated a dry goods store at 39th and Bell. The store closed after many years of serving the community and Minnie then worked in the jewelry industry. She was a current member of both The Temple, Congregation B'nai Jehudah and Beth Shalom Synagogue. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband: Eugene Hauser; brothers: Jack, Rubin and Sydney Moskovitz; sister: Anna Glaser. She is survived by nieces: Sue Blackman, Sharon Bernstein, Andrea Moskovitz and Beverly Blatt. Minnie was very devoted to her loving family and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
