TINNON, Minnie Lee Parsons OBITUARY: The Pulaski Citizen, 16 Dec 1981
Funeral services for Giles County native, Mrs. Minnie Lee Tinnon, 68, were held at 11:00 a. m. on Wednesday, December 16 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Chapel. Services were conducted by Mack Pinkelton and Marcus Nickell. Burial followed in Lynnwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Tinnon succumbed on Monday, December 14, at Giles County Hospital.
She was the wife of Gettis Tinnon, Sr., of Pulaski and the daughter of the late John and Emma Compton Parsons.
Survivors, among her husband include: 2 sons, Gettis Tinnon, Jr. of Shelbyville, John Edd Tinnon of Pulaski, and Don Tinnon of Pulaski; two daughters, Mrs. William Barlar of Clarksville and Mrs. Dean Ray of Athens, AL; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Knox of Lawrenceburg. She also leaves 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
