Miriam Angerman

Miriam Angerman was born about 1898 or 1900 in what is now Velykyi Rakovets in Ukraine. Further reading on this place can be found on JewishGen and Wikipedia. At the time of her birth, this place may have been known as Nagyrákócz which was part of Hungary and part of Austria-Hungary. When she immigrated to the USA in 1915 this place was known as Veľký Rakovec and part of Czechoslovakia.

In about 1914 she immigrated to the US

In 1915 she was living at 397 Wyona in Brooklyn, New York with Oscar Taub and family. She is listed as being in the US for about a year. She is listed as "sister" to Oscar, however, I am speculating that she is actually Oscar's wife Rose's sister and Rose was an Angerman. The last name "Angerman" is not written out in full, but ditto marks were used on this census form to indicate that her last name is Angerman just like Moshe Mailech(Mozes) on the line above who is listed as "brother" to Oscar.

In 1920 she was living at 251 Tenth Street in Manhattan, New York with Yechezkel "Oskar" Taub and his wife Rose (Rashka) Taub. She is listed as "sister-in-law" to Yechezkel "Oskar" Taub which likely means she is the sister of Rose (Rashka) Taub
