About Morris L. Goldberg
The information about Morris Goldberg and his family comes from the 1920 and 1930 census.
In January 1920, Yetta Friedman, Morris's neice is living with his family in Salt Lake. Her mother, Gussie, has died in the flu epidemic of 1919. Presumably little Gussie was named after her. It is not known where her father, Harry Friedman, is at this point.
Morris is an illiterate dry goods peddler. His wife, Gertie is litterate. Both were born in Russia.
They also have a boarder, Harry Zeve, living with them. He is also a Russian Jew and a dry goods peddler.
Moving forward to April 1930. Morris and Gertie's family has grown by three more children, Sandra, Stanley, and Leroy, in addition to Amy and little Gussie. Morris is now a farmer and has a fruit farm.
