Obituary for Morris J. Clement

Morris J. Clement, 80, of Farnam died November 4, 1994 at Gothernburg.

He was born November 16, 1913 in Lincoln County to Oliver and Josephine Hirschmiller Clement. He was raised on a farm near Farnam and attended rural school. He moved to California in 1937.

On January 29, 1943, he married Dorothy Opperman. He did construction work and was employed at the Fulton Shipyard before working at Fiberboard Paper Products for 20 years, retiring in 1972.

Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Salter of Walnut Creek, California; and Beverly (Bill) Copeland of Livermore, California; a sister, Erma (Walt) Holbein of Eustis; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1976 and three brothers [Ben, Ralph and Burton].

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel at Cozad with Larry Viter of the Faith Chapel in Gothenburg officiating. Burial will be at a later time at Oakview Cemetery in California.

A memorial has been established.

Visitation is 3 - 9 p.m. Sunday at the Berryman Funeral Home, which is in charge of the arrangements.
