1901 Census, name appears as Louis. 1911 Census, name appears as Louis (but is transcribed on Ancestry as "Laura"!). In "A Family Story", Ronnie Brown's biography, author Julie Wheelwright says of Louis, "Morris [named 'Louis' in other documents]". Odd thing is, she was rattling off names of Abraham Marks's family from the 1901 Census, where Louis is so named; don't know where she got the "Morris" from, unless it appeared on school registration documents!
