Moses was the youngest of ten known children born to Daniel Hills and Mabel Webster of East Hartford, Connecticut. He was married three times: (1) c. 1792 to Anne ________, b. 1773, d. 5 Sep 1793, buried Eastbury Cem., Glastonbury; (2) Glastonbury, CT March 1795 to Lucy GOODALE, b. 1757, d. 15 Oct 1800, who is buried in the Eastbury Cem., Glastonbury; and (3) c. 1801 Hepsibeth _______, b. 1758, d. 14 Feb 1848, aged 89. He was aged 17 on 30 Jan 1788 when his brother Nathan was chosen as his guardian.
Moses lived his life in Glastonbury, CT, and appears there with family on the 1800, 1810, and 1820 federal censuses. His will was dated 20 Nov 1826, and names wife Hepsibeth, daughter Hopey Curtis, daughter Anna Bidwell, daughter Julia Goodale, and granddaughter Caroline Curtis.
