His is the oldest Salas monument in Beth Haim, Curaçao, NWI (1799)
In an article from a Bethencourt, it mentions on page 16 that Moses Salas went to Surinam with support from Abu Yetonim. Abu Yetonim was a charity in Amsterdam devoted to support for orphan boys. These boys were either given an apprenticeship with a craftsman to learn a job, or they were sent elsewhere abroad. So this Moses Salas was an orphan in 1733, which fits with the death of Eliau Salas and Sara Salas Robles in 1728 and 1729 respectively. Moses will have been at least five, but may have been nine years old in 1733.
