

He cleared nearly all of his 80 acres, built him a log house and a year or two before he died, built a frame house. His wife, Ruth lived on the farm after his death with their children. When they were grown she lived with them and died at the home of James V. Wayman in Cambridge City, Indiana in Feb. 1857
