Moses' brother, Thomas, was elected to the 12th Congress. He was a member of the Federalist Party and served from 3/4/1811 to 3/3/1813 as a Representative from Virginia. Thomas' son, Edgar Campbell, was elected as an Anti-Jacksonian to the 23rd Congress. He was also a Representative from Virginia (03 04 1833-03 03 1835). Edgar's son, Eugene McLanahan, was a U.S. Representative from Minnesota.
Moses is listed as a Revolutionary War patriot by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
