Member of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion of 506th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.

S. Sgt Murray Bonnell Roberts was a US Army Paratrooper killed in action on D. Day June 4, 1944 when his plane was shot down before any of Paratroopers could jump. He was awarded the Purple Heart posthumously. He was the son of Rev. Harry Bonnell Roberts and Maude Dessie Ray Roberts of Tampa,Hillsborough, County, Florida.
