"Nancy Perkins was a daughter of Abner Perkins, a farmer of Newcastle. She married Washington Dodge on December 13, 1802 in Newcastle, Lincoln, Maine. Their children all settled in that part of Maine, except Mrs, Joshua (Caroline) Blenn, who died in California in 1858. All were comfortably situated and looked upon as among the best people. Children all born at Newcastle."
