DEATH: "Nancy at the age of three was burned so bad by her clothes catching fire when we children were playing in the pasture that she died eleven hours afterwards. This was a sad day for parents and children. So sudden to have the death angel come and take what seemed the flower of the family. She was buried on the farm, not far away."
