Inscription: Nancy Jane (Isbell) and Matthew David Howard were buried on the family farm on Haymarket Road in Rylie, Texas. The graves, in a thickly wooded area, were marked by wooden crosses that were regularly attended by their grandchildren, to include Shawn Howard. In the 1970s the land was sold by O.B. Howard who stipulated to the new owners that there was a family cemetery on the land. Unfortunately, the graves were not registered with the state. One day after school Shawn arrived home to find that dump trucks were hauling gravel from the land. When he and his mother checked the status of the graves, they observed that the coffins with their blue and white porcelain hinges had been breached. Although the family contacted the city, newspapers and police to stop the desecration, the land owner refused to stop digging and hauling. The graves were never re-established.

Burial: Unknown
