Children of John & Ann Thompson were:
6. Nancy THOMPSON, b. 23 Apr 1796, NC; d. 16 Apr 1864, Caddo Par., LA; m. William ILES, Jr.
It is said John Thompson’s will indicates one son and five daughters still living, plus grandson William THOMPSON (s/o Archibald) and granddaughter Delaney WEST. Based on the latter, it appears our subject had a daughter who had married a WEST and was deceased by 1839. Or perhaps one of the other daughters had remarried and died before 1839

Thompson, John submitted by Ronald Owen Thompson
My gggg grandfather was John Thompson who arrived in the Caddo area sometime around 1820. He traveled there with a George S. Garner who had married John's daughter, Elizabeth Thompson. Also traveling with John was William Iles, Jr. who had married John's daughter Nancy Thompson
