(This record states that she was married to Mark in Morris County, NJ, on 1 Jun 1833, by "a Mr. Collyer, a Lutheran minister." The date and place are at variance with official records, but their marriage was performed by Rev. Collier.)

!BIRTH YEAR: On the application she made for her son's military benefits, Nancy said that she was 50 years old when the record was made on 14 Nov 1865.

!WILL: Will of Nancy H. Castner from Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York, Vol. N, p. 549, made 19 April 1866, probated Dec 1866. This will lists the Castners' residence (which Nancy apparently owned) as No. 213 East Fayette Street in Syracuse. Named in the will are husband Mark, sons George and Francis, and daughter Marietta Clute.
