Nancy Abia Baldwin, dau. of Theophilus Baldwin and Esther Pardee, was born Dec. 17, 1808 in Middlebury, Connecticut; married with JONATHAN STILES, of Southbury, Conn., and, in 1874, living in that place.

Children were: Ransom B. (1836; m. Anna Stillman, of Bridgeport, Conn. There in 1874 and has a furniture store), Walter M. (1848; in 1874, unm., in Bridgeport), and Frank? (1848).

• 1831 marriage record: Nancy Baldwin m. Jonathan Stiles on 12/10/1831 in Conn.
• 1850 census: Nancy A. Stiles (42, b Ct) and husband Jonathan Stiles (50, b Ct); in Southbury, Conn. w ch. Ransom (14, b Ct) and Frank (2, b Ct). Jonathan is a farmer.
• 1870 census: Nancy A. Stiles (62, b Ct) and husband Jonathan Stiles (69, b Ct); in Southbury, Conn. w son Walter W. Stiles (22, b Ct). Jonathan is a farmer, Walter is a farm laborer.

Note: I have had no luck in finding birth or other records for son Frank; could he and son Walter M. be one and the same?
