About Nancy "Ann" Wilcox
"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 10, No 16, p 63, Sep. 29, 1853. At Carolina Mills, Richmond, R. I., Sept. 8th, inst., of liver complaint, Mrs. Nancy Wilcox, wife of Doct. Hazard Wilcox, in the 73d year of her age. In early youth she professed religion and united with the first Seventh-day Baptist Church in Hopkinton. During her life, she ever displayed a commendable interest in the cause in which she was engaged. She was conspicuous as an active Christian, and noted for her kindness to all. Her last illness was severe, but she bore all with Christian patience and resignation. She died with a full and firm hope of going to reign with her Redeemer on high. G. P. W.
