Nannette R. Gerhard Raber, 79, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, of Whitehall, died May 12, 2006 in Whitehall Township. She was the wife of Edgar A. Raber, whom she married October 2, 1993. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond G. and Mabel E. (Lear) Fetzer. Nan graduated from William Allen High School in 1944. She was a former swimsuit model at the former Hess Department Store in Allentown. She worked as a secretary for the Whiehall-Coplay School District for 27 years before her retirement in 1991. Nan was a member of the Hokendauqua Park and Playground Association and was a member of Trinity U.C.C., Coplay. She was an avid grandmother and loved the ocean, beach and sunbathing. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.

Survivors: Husband; sons, Ronald B. and wife Brenda Gerhard of Coopersburg; Jeffrey A. and wife Katherine Gerhard of Whitehall; Henry Skip Gerhard, who passed in 1996; stepsons, David Raber of Ashville, NC; Carl and wife Carol Raber of Coplay; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Marianne, wife of Robert Lieberman of Allentown; Freda, wife of Herb Morgan of Ocean City, NJ, Christine, w/o Ed Mealy of Sarasota, FL; brother, Frederick R. Fetzer of Allentown.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA 18067. Call 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown, immediately following service.
