Family geneaology: Descendants of Joseph Teschner by Robert Hanscom (238 pages). The family history of Abraham Teschner & Nannette Meyer/Cohn (married 20 Dec 1887) is at pages 11-12. Extract, p. 11: "His wife, Rosa, died in 1887. Nine months after Rosa's death, Abraham Teschner married a Mrs. Cohen [Nannette Meyer], a fortune-hunter who imagined he was immensely wealthy. Against the protest of her husband (who told her he was not rich), she gave elaborate parties. In one month, she spent $400 for cakes alone. Abraham suffered an apoplectic stroke and lay in bed, neglected by his wife. He died within a year of a stroke."
Extract, p. 12: "Nannette Meyer was born in Fischach, Bavaria, the daughter of Markus and Carolina (Weil) Meyer. Shewas married first, about 1860, to Moritz Cohn. By him, she had one son, Louis Cohn (b. c.1862). .... she became Abraham Teschner's second wife on 20 December 1887.
