About Nathan Abernathy

Nathan was my great great great great grandfather.

In the mid-1840s, he and his wife Eve moved from North Carolina to the new formed "Cass County" of Georgia. (Cass was later renamed to "Bartow County.") Their children, many of them with families of their own, came with them. Today, many of Nathan and Eve's descendents still live in Bartow and the surrounding counties.

Son of Miles Abernathy and Ursula, husband of Eve Cline, **Nathan's date of death on this list comes from letter written by his grandson Matthew Goodson Inscription: Married 1-28-1808, N.C., Nathan and Eve had 12 sons and 4 daughters, Moved to GA 1844
