About Nathan "Alfred" Wilson
Nathan A. Wilson, 64, a farmer of Route 3, died at a local hospital at 1:30 a.m., today. A resident of Nueces County for the past 25 years, he was a native of Rockdale, Texas. Funeral arrangements, under direction of Peeler-Jackson Funeral Home, are incomplete. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Gussie, Johnnie and Woodrow of Corpus Christi, and Archie Wilson of San Antonio; one daughter, Mrs. C.H. Bigler, of Corpus Christi; two stepsons; Billie Gold of Corpus Christi and Louis Shaper with the Navy in Boston, Mass., one stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Lanmon of New Jersey; three sisters, Mrs. A.A. Offield, Mrs. Viola Offield and Mrs. Fannie Williams all of Rockdale; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. (Unknown Corpus Christi newspaper, January 19, 1948)
