(1064) II. 5. NATHANIEL BARBER, fourth son of Robert and Hannah Tidmarsh Barber, was b. in Chester, Pa., 9th mo. 9th, 1727 ; m. MARY CONNER. He received of his father's estate the saw-mill on Barber's Run, built in 1727, with about seventy-five acres of land, and afterwards he seems to have acquired the old mansion house erected by his father in 1726, which Hempfield Township, Lancaster Co., on Aug. 8th, 1777. He d. about June 10th, 1782, intestate, letters of administration being granted to Mary Barber, the widow, and James Barber, brother, of the deceased, under date of Aug. 24th, 1782.
