Nathaniel Condict

Birth: Sep. 25, 1733 Death: Mar. 19, 1781

Son of Peter Condict & Phebe Dodd. He married first, Sarah Coe of Benjamin Coe of Morristown (b.1-17-1740/d. 08-14-1762); And, his second wife was Abigail Winds, dau. of Brig. Gen. William Winds (not Wines as in the Condit genealogy books). Note: Nathaniel's headstone is spelled correctly as Condict, but is incorrectly spelled as Condit on a marker with his wife's name, Abigail Winds. Nathaniel's brother, Captain Ebenezer Condict, fought and died in the Rev. War under Brig. Gen. William Winds, and from that relationship is how family recalls Nathaniel met Gen. Wind's daughter, Abigail Winds.

Abigail and Nathaniel were members of the Succasunny Plains Prebyterian Church. Children by Abigail: David, Hiram, Dr. Isaiah*, Phebe, Rhoda, Ebenezer, and Abigail.
