The funeral of Nathaniel McClellan took place from his late residence on East Diamond Street Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Some months ago Mr. McClellan received a severe stroke of paralysis, which incapacitated him for work. He recovered almost entirely from this first attack; but at different time has been stricken. On last Saturday evening on retiring to bed he appeared to be in better health than usual, but at twelve o'clock received a fatal stroke, and in a few minutes, without uttering a word, was dead. Mr. McClellan for many years was a consistent member of the M.E. church, and his death is deeply mourned by friends and family.
