• 4 iii. Lucinda Annie PAYNE was born 1 JUN 1804 in Franklin Co. GA, and died 31 DEC 1871 in Benton Co. AR. She married Jesse Broyles GOTCHER 22 MAR 1822 in Franklin Co. TN, son of Henry GOTCHER and Temperance WADSON. He was born 4 JAN 1796 in GA, and died 4 DEC 1880 in Benton Co. AR.

Evidence of this was sent to me by Frank Moore (see below). Nathaniel Payne, son of Thomas Payne, was born in VA. Thomas and Nathaniel both served in the VA militia and received benefits (Land lottery in Franklin Co. GA).
