About Ned E. Marks
After his divorce from Hazel he married Ruth. They lived on Stevens Avenue in Minneapolis. Every two years they would take the train to the west coast to visit his sisters, Althea Marks Pohlman and Grace (Marie?) Marks Edwards, and his son, Winston, and Win's children. He also wrote letters. Sometimes he would tuck in a dollar and joke, "Thanks for not telling Ruth you caught me smoking behind the woodpile." He came to Judy's high school graduation in 1958. He was a Mason. There is a line in the Marks family with many Winstons and Neds. My guess is that we are that line but when I last looked the links didn't tie us in yet.
