This Nicholas was baptised in Penistone, the son of Francis in 1645. Francis could have been Francis son of Anthony baptised in Bradfield in 1622, or Francis son of John baptised in Bradfield in 1600. I have chosen the latter because of the baptism of a John to a Francis in 1635 in Bradfield. The gap before the other two baptisms in Penistone suggested perhaps a second marriage
