rd co., Md. Orphans Court, pg. 150 Elizabeth, widow takes out papers of Admr. She is buried in the McKendree Cemetery. Her marker reads: "Our Mother...Elizabeth Onion McComas Rutledge Brooks."

As Extr. of his father's Nichloas paid taxes on slaves to Allender, Marche, and Street in 1803. Relationship unknown. In 1820 Thomas Lytle arranged estate settlement for Elizabeth McComas with a Joshua Rutledge. She got land Mt. Vernon and youngest son educated and his mother quit claims to him in 1832 Mt. Vernon...he d. 1878.
