Noah Maples was the husband of Virginia Rebecca 'Langston'Maples.
They were the parents of 3 children:

The document was found with some other original's and pages from his old Bible recently. In this, he wrote that his grandmother's parents were Noah Maples and Rebecca, also going on to callthem "my great grandparents." Rev. Robert H. Long was born in Sevier Co., Tennessee. The document is now in the possession of Phyllis 'Long' Rhodes. Some Maples' family members and researchers have Noah and Josiah listed as brothers. I have been in contact w/several, one being Charles from Pigeon Forge. He was a member of the Historical Soc., and he had research his Maples family for many years. He had this information for the Maples' family members. Sadly, Charles is no longer w/us, but he had sent a great many pages of his research to me about the family ties about 6/7 years ago to me. I have received records from many other family researches listing him as being the son of William Maples and Prudence Comstock. Stephen Maples being William's father and his mother being listed as Patence Fargo.
