Norah Jones

Born Nov. 27, 1921, in DeQueen, Ark., and passed away March 14, 2008, in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, F.A. Jones. and son, Bruce Jones. She is survived by her son, Phillip R. Jones and his wife Christy; four grandchildren, Jeff Jones and wife Joanna, Matt Jones, Anne Jones Holt and husband John, and Amber Jones; two great-grandchildren, Madeline Holt and Beckett Jones; two brothers, Bill Brizendine and wife Radien of Pasadena, and Earl Brizendine and wife Beverly of DeQueen, Ark., and many nieces and nephews.

Formerly of Tyler, she has lived at Presbyterian Village North in Dallas since 2001. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Skillman Avenue Church of Christ, 3014 Skillman Street, Dallas, 75206. Interment to follow at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery, 7825 S. Broadway Avenue, Tyler, 75703. Memorials may be made to Skillman Avenue Church of Christ Youth Ministry, Attention: Jerry Perry, 3014 Skillman Street, Dallas, 75206.
