Octavia Robertson

Widely known in the family for wearing wigs repaired with dyed fibre or crocus. She was also known for making homemade boiled sweets, which she kept in a night chair. Unfortunately, the sweets often had strands of fibre/hair caught in them. A similar problem occurred with her fruit cakes, in which hair pins were often found!
